The 2016 New-type Urbanization Forum was held in Beijing
On January 23, the 2016 New-type Urbanization Forum, jointly sponsored by CUPC, the China Economic Information Agency under the National Development and Reform Commission and Xinhua News Agency, was held in Beijing's Great Hall of the People. With the theme of "New Habitus and New Dynamic", the forum aims to actively implement the spirit of the CPC Central Committee, the Fourth Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee, the Fifth Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee and the Central Urbanization Work Conference., The forum also aims at vigorously promoting China's urban and rural integration and new urbanization in accordance with General Secretary Xi Jinping's instructions on the development of integrating urban and rural areas.
Yuan CHEN, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee and honorary president of CUPC, Zhenghua JIANG, former vice chairman of the NPC Standing Committee and chairman of CUPC, Yining LI, honorary president of Guanghua School of Management of Peking University, Jingwei CHEN, deputy director of the Economic Commission and vice chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, Chengjie YIN, deputy party secretary and executive vice minister of the Ministry of Agriculture, Kong DAN, former chairman of CITIC Group and chairman of CITIC Reform and Development Foundation, Pingsheng WANG, director of China Economic Herald Society under National Development and Reform Commission and Vice Chairman of and Zejun YANG, Chairman of the Silk Road Fund, attended the forum.
The forum focused on hot topics surrounding the development of New-type Urbanization, including interpreting the policies on the New-type Urbanization from central government, the innovation on the institutional mechanisms of investment and financing in the New-type Urbanization field.
