On August 6, hosted by CUPC and organized by Qingdao City Urbanization Leading Group and Qingdao Huangdao District People's Government (West Coast New Area Management Committee), the event of " 'thousands of enterprises & towns project' into Qingdao" was held in Huangdao District.
The event of " 'Thousands of enterprises and towns project' into the Qingdao" will be composed of three parts: themed activities, seminars, town-enterprise exchanges. The event aimed at promoting the development of small towns in Qingdao through providng business exchange platform to integrate enterprises and the small towns in Qingdao. Jiang Zhenghua, vice chairman of the National People's Congress and chairman of the China Urbanization Association, attended the event and delivered a speech.
Xinli ZHENG, Deputy director of the Central Policy Research Office and administrative vice chairman of CUPC, Chengjie YIN, former vice minister of the Ministry of Agriculture, Yanbing CHEN, vice chairman and secretary-general of CUPC and Ji YU, executive vice president of the China Enterprise Confederation attended the event and gave speeches. Deping ZHANG, Vice Mayor of Qingdao attended the event and delivered a speech. Qingdao Municipal People's Congress and the relevant leaders of the municipal government, representatives from related Qingdao municipal government departments, as well as business, financial representatives attended the event.
At the morning session, Changhong SHI, director of China Development Bank Evaluation Bureau, Yi ZHOU, director of China Everbright Bank Large Asset Business Coordination Bureau, interpreted the related financial policies of the implementation of "Thousands enterprises and towns project" . Some business representatives introduced their experiences of the construction of Characteristics Towns.
Zhenghua JIANG then made a speech, in which he emphasized that the development of Characteristic Towns should take the road of development with Chinese characteristics. He pointed out that, during the process of development, we must take General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech as a guide and firmly grasp the following key elements: the characteristics of China at current stage, people's longing for a better life.
At the afternoon session, the leaders of the relevant functional departments of the Qingdao Municipal Government and the leaders of the districts and counties where the Characteristic towns are located introduced their experience of developing Characteristic Towns in their respective administrative regions respectively. Shi Changhong, Director of Assessment and Evaluation Bureau of China Development Bank and Zhou Yi, Director of the Coordination Office of Large Assets Business of the Head Office of China Everbright Bank, exchanged their opinions on financing modes, financing conditions and financing channels for the establishment and operation of characteristic towns. The symposium was hosted by Hsinchu ZHANG, deputy secretary-general of Qingdao Municipal Government.
At the town-enterprise exchange, more than 30 high-quality enterprises from all around China and 21 characteristics towns of Qingdao had in-depth communications.
